Disclamer : Since this is a handmade soap, each soap bar is handcrafted and hand-cut, therefore each bar will be slightly different. The weight and size (dimensions) listed below is an approximation. Please note that the listed price excludes delivery costs.

Important note: To ensure gentleness on your skin and that the homemade fruit salad soap will last as long as possible, each bar is cured for a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks. Your soaps will last longer if you keep them in a dry, ventilated area such as a draining soap dish or soap holder. See Soap Startup’s article on “Handmade Soap Care Instructions – How to Make Soap Last Longer” for more information.

The chemistry of soap making can be summed up like this: at the molecular level, the fat and sodium-based ingredients combined in soap have two polar ends. The one end is hydrophilic, meaning it attracts water, while the other (hydrophobic) repels it. Natural soap does not kill germs or bacteria, it removes them. The hydrophobic end of the soap molecule attaches to the oil and debris on your body, and the hydrophilic end attaches to the water you use to wash and rinse thereby washing away the oil and debris.

Please Read : Since we are a small business, backordered soaps will only be made if a number of orders is exceeded. Currently this threshold is 4 bars of soap. Please keep this in mind when placing an order. Should we not make your soap within a year we will inform you and make a plan. Should your soap be made, we will update you as to the production process and ship it to you once it is ready.
